Description
Alucoat D is specially developed for surface preparation of aluminium components prior to electroplating. It is a ready to use immersion dip and is compatible with copper plating as under coat without blistering (nickel-base zincating dip).
Operating Parameters (from Redox brochure)
Essential pre-treatment for zincating of aluminium and its alloys. Enables direct dull or bright nickel deposits to be applied without intermediate brass or copper plating. Ready to use at ambient temperature.
